It has been a while since I wandered into the exhibition venues of Craft ACT , the local craft council. On the main walls was an exhibition “Art Quilt Australia: people, place and nation“.
Ever wondered about what language some of those art gallery wall texts were written in?

Editta Sherman lived and worked above Carnegie Hall from the late 1940s to 2010, photographing thousands of celebrity portraits―actors, writers, poets, and musicians―in classic black-and-white style.

The 2017 Director’s Choice Award
The 2017 Director’s Choice Award was the The Papapetrou Family by Anne Zahalka, acquired for the Tweed Regional Gallery’s Permanent Collection through funds from the Friends of the Tweed Regional Gallery and Margaret Olley Art Centre Inc.
