Exhibition: Brave New World 1930s
The new major exhibition at the state gallery (NGV) is themed Brave New World 1930s.
It seems like a worthy and colourful display of the NGVs collections along this theme. It is a great thing when our public galleries make use of their wonderful collections.
So far I have not seen much in the way of reviews beyond those pieces written from the enthusiastic media releases.
It definitely looks of interest; but it is a entrance-fee paying exhibition.
I wonder if it is worth the visit. Have yet to make up my mind to commit to going next time I am in Melbourne.
I will be keeping an eye out for word of mouth comments and any online reviews.
