Mervyn Bishop at the AGNSW

Wonderful photography – and a well curated exhibition.

A totally recommended exhibition.

The exhibition has a selection of his engaging photo-journalism & documentary photographs along two walls. There’s a slide show with a many images that relate to the events that Mervyn has been involved with and has documented.

And finally there are three tables of objects, photographs and other related materials that point to the wealth of material that is in Mervyn Bishop’s archive.

The exhibition is at the back of the Indigenous Art Gallery on the lower floor.

This exhibition, Mervyn Bishop’s photographs, is one of many reasons to visit the AGNSW right now – see other posts on these exhibitions.
